Right so we talked about this a while back about getting a NCB RO setup and I'm happy to report it has arrived and is up and running.
I have it and am happy to house it for the moment. If people want water i can get it ready with enough advanced notice. It produces about 4/L per hour so it does take a bit of time. I can do a swap of cider drum empty for full (RO) also with enough notice or you can take the lot away and do it yourself. It's portable enough to bring to meetings so easy to move it around.
Can connect to garden tap or kitchen tap with adapter.
Just don't be in hurry.
If you want RO whatsapp or PM me.

Thats great to hear Nigel and a great offer to others.

So are we ordering another 2?

(One more to travel and a back-up spare?)

So the clubs two RO system have arrived.

I am just setting up the first one (read the instructions about flushing out the charcoal etc)

Quick test shows the waste to RO ratio is better than 2 to one. Is actually 1.7 to 1 at present.

Flow rate is 150 mL per minute or 9 litre per hour.

I imagine over time these figure will change.

Btw: What is the web site for th esupplier

Its been nearly 2 months since I commissioned this system!

Just running the RO for Mr Jolly!

RO: 5 L/Hr
Waste Ratio: 3 to 1

I think these need to be used every so often just to keep them flowing well

Is the water supply consistant with initial setup?  Pressure.  (and mineral content. Guessing that a higher mineral content would reduce output)

Latest figure:

5.2 L/Hr, Waste ratio is 3 to 1

Mine in North Dublin is running around 3-4L/Hr with the same waste rate. A pump would make a big difference, but tbh, I can fill two 25L drums in a day at it is, so it's good enough.
