Education in brewing is core to the National Homebrew Club.

This year we will be raising the bar higher again and holding our inaugural brewing conference BrewCon2015 on Saturday, May 9th 2015.

"The conference will have international & Irish speakers covering the four pillars of brewing ingredients, recipe formulation, and how to take your brewing to the next level."

There will be a Discounted NHC Member Ticket pre-sale. This will go live via email on Monday 6th April to all full members with details on special pricing.
The numbers are limited to 150 attendees and they are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
The ticket covers attendence for the day and will include lunch & a drinks reception at the close of the event.

2. I don't see the point in being a member of Beoir and NHC. I am missing my discount though 

1. Thank you, it's a very much a team effort to get it organised.

2. Being a member of the club gives you access to discounts to our affiliates, access to group buys, e.g. Apple juice, cornie kegs, hops, ...
It gives you access to members in your local club, access to training, competitions, brew days, etc (I know not everyone is a member at these events, but without members supporting the hobby, enthusiasm falls off)

And now, it gives you a preferential offer to attend the conference, the first of its scale in Ireland aimed purely at you, the homebrewers.

Worth a tenner, I think so.
