This year, GCBrewers were looking for people to brew the best American Ale style beer they could.
Based on BJCP American Ale, we wanted you to brew your best Pale, Amber or Brown Ale.
The closing date for entries was 9th May.
The competition was held on Sat 23rd May.
Location: Wicklow Wolf Brewery, first competition to be held in the middle of a working brewery.
There are prizes for each category, with a grand prize for Best of Show.

Max 60 beers, (Limit: 1 beer per person per category).
Cost €5 per entry.
Open to members of NHC or Beoir.

Thank you to everyone involved in entering or helping out in the 2nd Annual GCBrewers homebrewing competition.
This was the first time a homebrew competition has been held in a dedicated brewery.
This year was Category 10 – American Ales (Pale, Amber & Brown).
There were close to 60 entries this year.
