BJCP Official Name Badges...
« on: May 17, 2018, 12:42:06 PM »
Sorry, I was meant to put this up after the NHC Competition. Anyone who has passed the BJCP is entitled to an official badge, free of charge. Just just your BJCP ID (and password) to sign up and fill in the details:

Think you need to be certified though. Got nothing for recognised but got the pin with my certified results.
in kegs: barrel aged - flanders red, old bruin, imp stout, tuman ale.
non barrel aged - cider, saison.
all available for swaps

I was certified a long time ago, well before the NHC and BJCP!!

Na it's just a credit card like name badge. They also send you out a new pin whenever you change rank.

Wouldn't mind one of the national pins but couldn't be arsed doing the written exam as you have to go to the UK to sit it.

Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Just bumping this topic as a reminder to all BJCP judges that if you haven't availed of your free badge, now would be the time to do so, so you'll have it for the NHC comp.
