Cleaning home brewing pumps

I've just bought a cheap Chinese food grade diaphragm pump which I want to try using in a bottling setup. I believe you can take it apart to clean but there's about 16 screws to undo to do this. What's normal practice for cleaning and sanitising home brew pumps?

Run through/recycle with cleaning solution for 5-10 mins (depending on cleaning product), rinse thoroughly, optional final wash through with StarSan.

Cool, I'll try running the pump with an oxy solution for 10 mins followed by a bit of StarSan/ChemiSan.
