Would most people use 2 for a single tier three pot set-up? One for sparging and one for transfer to and from boil kettle?

Damn you people! Just when I thought I wasn't going to buy more stuff.

I'd imagine the cost will come in more than last time due to exchange rate changes.

Ok this is looking like a runner again. Who ran the last group but? I can send off some emails and try get some prices back.

brian_c

Seems a quick trawl of finances means this won't be a runner for me. Who knew that buying a house was so expensive?

How do people usually get around the NTP to BSP connection conversion with these? Is it just adaptors from aliexpress?
I'm in the process of figuring out what sort of connection standard to use for all my gear.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Most people went for the inline pump last time. This has 1/2" fittings at the inlet  and outlet. BSP fittings fit fine at 1/2".

If you go for a centre feed pump, it has a 3/4" inlet and 1/2" outlet. You will need a NPT 3/4" x 1/2" reducer  because 3/4" BSP won't fit. You can then fit a 1/2" BSP fitting to the NPT reducer.

Or just use all NPT fittings. They seem to be popular among homebrewers with a penchant for shiny shite  :P

Saruman (Reuben Gray)

From what I have read, Centre pumps are a little better than inline.
In my case, I would prefer centre as I plan on putting them below my vessels, similar to the electric brewery setup.
