Title: Looking for Kveik in Ireland
Post by: Eurynomous on July 05, 2019, 04:12:15 PM
Hi, I'm a new member looking for a good source for Kveik strains. Summer is here and I'm temperature control is lacking. So instead of making my own swamp cooler, I'm going to embrace the heat and go with Kveik.
If anyone has any recommendations for a good Kveik retailer or source I would be interested.

Thank you.

I have the same problem.

Wicklow Hops Company have a range of isolated single strain kveik yeasts. One of them, the Ugge strain is noted for fermenting very clean, and dropping bright quickly, and one member here made a convincing lager with it in 6 days.

WHC yeasts are available from the home brew company, and direct from WHC labs themselves.
