Fresh hops

I couldn't find anything on this so the newbie question

I've been given a bag of hops that I'm hoping to use to dry hop my next ipa. Ill need to keep them for a week or so. Would I need to freeze these hops or could I keep them in an airtight container before using them?

depends what they are as some lose flavour nuch more than others.
Take the guesswork out of it in case your plans change, ziplock bag, push the air out and freeze
