Just to get a second thread on the Midlands list:

Just because a group is separated by geography does not mean that ye can't come together as a virtual group and talk via the web!

How and ever:

Yes Ok, The city slickers can all pick a convienient central place ( aka. Friendly Pub !! ) to hold a monthly meet.

Thats one model!

Another one for the more distributed group is to try to meet up each month at a house or a pub and do the NHC thing!

Meets in Pubs = Tasting homebrews ( with prior agreement )

Meet up at weekend in a members house:
Brewday /BBQ / HB tasting ad nauseum ( Apologies HB does not make you ill! )
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Would agree Will, some of our activity will be virtual and more will involve having a foot in other regions....for some of us Mid West, Limerick etc. is only 30 min whereas for anyone in Mullingar, sure that's celtic tiger Dublin!  I'd be happy to host a brew day in Moneygall and maybe a visit to Ollie hayes in June / July if it suited some midlands folk.

I like your ideas Will.

Count me in anyways, I from Killiegh which is just outside Tullamore, I'm in the middle of a master's degree at the minute so I won't have much time to contribute until after December
Tapped: Brown Porter, Dortmunder, Rye IPA
Bottled: Barrel RIS, Barrel Red Flanders, Oatmeal Stout
Fermenting: Barrel triple, NEIPA
Planned: Pilsner, Hazy Pale Ale, something Belgian
