For Sale / 3 vessel brewing system 70 lit...
Last post by barkar - April 09, 2024, 09:26:21 PM
Hi
Selling 3 vessel thermopot system
1 boiler with 2 elements has 100 litre capacity
2 75 litre thermopots 1 is mash tun with    false bottom the other is a hlt with has 3kw element hlt
1 totum pump
Camlocks etc . 10 plate chiller
The elements in boiler probably need to be switched out but that is a quick fix . The electric cable is properly weighted for both elements
I have a pid and stc 1000 also
Pm me for more details
I bought a smaller system as I don't brew as much as I used to and don't have the space.

How's your brewing going? Looking to start myself soon. Just doing my homework at the moment in equipment and ingredients etc and would appreciate any tips.

Hey Christophe. I'm liking your plan. Would love to do something commercial and manageable at some stage. Could you send me a link to the discord group please? My username is kirwangreen

Cheers

Introductions / Hello from the Lee Valley
Last post by MuddyRiver - April 07, 2024, 09:30:36 AM
Greetings everyone. Great to be part of this club. I have been making bread for a few years now and I get a great kick out of waiting around for the dough to rise or feeding the starter for my sourdough everyday (It's like a pet). I love the quality of a product when you have to wait around for the ingredients to do their thing.
I am ready for my next journey in beer making but want to do it properly. I love beer. I love how it looks. I love how it tastes and I love how varied it can be. But I don't love the price!
Would be great to meet a few of you down the line and I look forward to perusing the forum for top tips on equipment, recipes and techniques.
The very best to everyone.

Hey!

Thanks for the reply :-) I've seen discussed the matter with a few more people on the Discord channel of the Homebrew Club and also with some friends. Recently GEB released that video tour https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AKMppiP72g which is pretty close to what I have in mind: small scale at home as a side job, local distribution, etc (indeed, no bottling system in his garage). I'll have a look at the place you point me to...
