Was this grown from a bottle ? Just curious ? How did the first batch turn out ??
I heard a rumour that for some Weiss beers they filter out the original yeast and add in a champagne yeast with some unfermented wort to get the extra carbonation.
However this may not be the case with Paulaner - you would know from the first batch for sure.
Ya was grown from bottle. First batch turn out great on the fourth batch now :).
