Fridge internal dimensions for 2 x corny kegs

What's the minimum internal size  for a fridge holding 2 corny kegs plus tubing etc? Ripping out the door shelving is OK. Do most people store their gas in the fridge beside the kegs or outside?

Take out the crisper drawers and check how much space the compressor takes up at the bottom. My under counter fridge's compressor only takes up a corner of the fridge base (as opposed to half the base) so it can actually accommodate 3 cornies or two cornies and gas.

does the co2 tank need to be refrigerated too or is it just the beer temperature that matters?

Co2 doesn't need to be refrigerated. I moved mine outside the fridge on my second kegerator.
