QuoteFYI, I had been looking at these here...
http://www.hopandgrape.co.uk/public/detailv1.asp?itemcode=CAR20194935

Currently out of stock

That might be an option yet if the Aussies don't reply back to me about metal ones

John pinged them a mail to see what they come back with in terms of price

johnrm

'John pinged' statement, or 'John ping' command?
I'll get in touch for price and availability.

They didn't mention that they had 2 other enquiries in the last 24 hours ;)

I received a reply saying that they needed to check their supplier in the US for this quantity.
Methinks we need to be looking over there for a supplier...

thats the plan , would prefer a metal one though and have 5 enquires into aus at the moment and 2 into the US.
I may get my sis to bring these back foc

Are we all in a hurry for them?

Hop Bomb

I guess if you brew 23 or 25 litre batches & get 19 L in a keg you'd bang the left overs into some 2 or 3 litre plastic bottles & carb them. Am I right in saying then that when you'd drank a bit of your corny you can top up with these bottles of brew? (I hope thats what there for as thats why Im buying them)
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

QuoteNot in a hurry at all.

Couple of questions though. Do these seal the bottle, as in do they have a valve fitted? Do we all really need two? I kind of followed the crowd there.

you screw them down on top of a 2 or 3 litre bottle. I use a spanner to make sure they are tight as I put 3 bar on them

1,2 or 22 thats personal choice
At the mo it I am carbing water it takes 3 days at 3 bar for 2 litres to be farty, 2 days for Peligrino
She drinks one every other day hence..
