To show some thanks to our hosts for allowing us to drink homebrewed beers in their pub, it is customary to buy some drinks from the house.

I made the red ale with a lager yeast. It's my first ever attempt at a lager and it came out OK but if anyone with more experience of lagering wants to critique it, I'd appreciate the feedback.

Also, I accidentally bought 2kg of whole vienna malt. I don't own a mill so I'll give it away for free to anyone who wants it. Mention here if you'd like it, I won't cart it in to town unless there's a taker.

Beer of the night for me from so many really good beers was the chocolate orange stout. :).

Ahhh! I was looking forward to trying Adrian's Choc Orange Stout, pity I had to leave at 9... on the plus side Little Dragon where deadly! Daves Blackberry Wit stuck with me, very nice.

Great night lads! Great introduction to the Capital Brewers team with so many new beers I've never tried before.
Agree about the Chocolate Orange Stout although I have to say the session IPA was very good also.

Looking forward to the next one!
