Title: Getting there
Post by: admin on November 07, 2012, 02:31:07 PM
Info for anyone interested in coming by public transport.

The Lucan County Bar is beside the Spa Hotel on the N4. The same people own both buildings, so they share the same car park. The car park is well lit and I have safely left my car there many times overnight.

To get there by public transport:
By train: Be in Leixlip Confey (http://www.irishrail.ie/Leixlip%20(Confey)) before 6:40pm and you will have a lift.
By Dublin Bus: 66, 66A, 66B, 67 and 25.
- For 66/A/B and 67 use Stop 7186 outside the door when coming from the city (shared with Bus Eireann)
- For 25 use stop 3888, and walk up the steps.

When going towards the city all buses use Stop 3949 opposite McDonald's in Lucan; walk under the dual carriageway and up the steps.

Bus Eireann routes 123 and 120 also serve the Lucan County.
