35A Wine - General asks for 'Specific Type, Special Ingredients and/or Classic Style Required' but it doesn't give the additional text box to fill in the details.

Ok, this seems to be working:

Select Cat 35A and fill in, add any extra info into the "Brewers Specifics" box

Click submitt and you will get an error request to fill in (upto 50) caharacter the required extra info. Summarise your wine in less than 50 chars like "A kit brewed light summer rosé" or "Full bodied country hedgerow Red" or "An experimental dry Sherry made from Parsnips"

Try to get in kit / country / or other (say for non table strength wines)

Then hit submit and thats entry number one done.

Just repeat the above for other wines!

Thanks to all for making this work.
It is appreciated by us small band of wine makers

Thanks for the feedback Will.
The chatter behind the scenes is that there is a need to feature a wine competition.

Same for M4B (Historical Mead): "Specific Type, Special Ingredients and/or Classic Style Required".

Can you screenshot and post this?
I tested wines and it looked ok to me. I will test later.

Re wine: see post #31 above, click submitt and you will get the error page with the box to fill in!

I tested this.
Yes, the bug is there.
Solution...
Hit submit first without the special ingredients.
Go back and edit in the special ingredients, hit submit again.
Done.
Sorry about this.

johnrm

FYI, I have submitted this for bug-fix to the developer.

Just gonna enter my country wine and there doesn't appear to be a 35A wine category in the drop down box, maybe because i entered one already in this category.  Any thoughts?

I already entered two with no problem! 35A is there just after the 34's!

I didn't realise wine was Cat 35, I was looking for a cat after the ciders and meads Doooh!!

35A was gone for a small while this evening.
There is a story that involves soiled underwear.
Its back now.
@Will, BCOE&M does not have wine as standard - 35A is just the next available number - There is no BJCP style for wine AFAIK.
I guess the hint is in the acronym - BEER Judge Certification Program.
(so WTF is Mead and Cider in there? One of lifes great mysteries!)

bachus

oh, not a 'BEE Judge Certification Program' ?

Thanks for that.  Got it entered
