Put Sunday 24th Feb into your calenders -

for a co-op brewday -

Jacob has really got me going on doing a Nelson Single Hop IPA, and we could get Jacobs Gas system over as well - do a double brew
We may even have a bit of a Bar-B-Que - nothing like a bit of horse to break up the day - maybe Nigel can help us there (Zing !)

Anyways - I dont really mind what we attempt to brew - but I have booked the kitchen / Garden and Shed for the day !

I've ordered the nice weather  what else can I do?

Camera? Check
Thirst?  Check Check

Rats

Would love to come, but have 2 birthdays and a house warming the Saturday :P
I drive way to fast to worry about cholesterol

Here's a list of recipes that I have in mind :

1. International Homebrew Project 2013
2. Smoked Porter
3. '3' Grains (Pils/Wheat/Rye) Weizen

With the 3rd one we could use some wlp300 slurry James :P

Bubbles

Lads, I've got a hefe in the fermenter at the moment and I'll probably be bottling in the next week or so. I'll bottle up some WLP300 slurry for you if you want?

Conor.

So this will be the first NCB co-operative brew day.

Now apart from lurking with long lens ( papparazzii style ) and talking nerdy science ( ad. infinitum ) what else can I do to contribute in a positive way??

What about food? Sloooowwwly  cooked steaks??

I once cooked a 2.5 kilo sirloin for about 4 hours and it was still rare!

Ok by me , if OK by James then Will is doing the steak!

Are we going to vote for one of those or do we want to
include other recipes? :P

This is all confirmed now ..

Do we all want to brew the same recipe or is that a bit boring ?

I probably need to get the yeast sorted soon -

unless of course its WLP001 or WLP300 which I have slurry that is less than 7 days old.

How many people are brewing ??

So far

1: Partridge
2: Jacob

Any one else want to brew ? I dont mind either way.
