I have to differ with Tube, here. The "gee hair" is in fact quite a crude unit of measure. A far more precise unit is the "gnat's gee hair". There are approximately 2076 gnat gee hairs in a standard gee hair, or in lay man's terms, 2 gnat gee hairs is one milli-gee-hair.

Now I know some of you young uns might think "aah that's not much" but if your working for the European space agency and setting the co-ordinates for a planned rocket trip to Mars,ye wont get there.
