Aromatic Malt 150 EBC

I have a bag of Aromatic Malt here that says its 150 EBC but it looks really light in the bag. I got it from HBC but I think HBW sell the same stuff. Is this really 150 EBC because beside a bag of Caramunich II it is way lighter and that is only 80ish EBC.

Will a light coloured malt impart more colour to the beer. Considering how light this looks I'm very sceptical.
