Take one of these that has soaked overnight



One of these from carboy cleaner . com



Connected to this




Drop of fairy liquid to get worst out and away we go




One on the right cleaned in 2 secs the one of the left needed 2 goes as it was an RIS with a bit of vwp, diluted in warm rather than boiling!! :)




Quick rinse and drip dry on carboy drainer and good as new



A psst of star San some cling film and we are ready for the shelf.

I would not recommend storing a container with starsan in it.

I did and after about 2 weeks the SS had evaporated and there were "colonies" in evidence!

For long term/medium term storage use about a litre of water and 2 campden tablets. Never ever had a problem and the containers are always "sweet" (Ok rinse of the SO2 before taking a dep sniff) :-X
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing
