Title: Can someone help with beer smith?
Post by: belfastjacko on August 31, 2017, 06:30:42 PM
I've recently moved from kits to BiAB AG brewing. So far I've been following recipes from Get Er Brewed and just buying their ingredient kits. It's decent for learning the technique, but.....

I've purchased beer smith to further my learning and I've no idea how to configure it for my kit, what are the key values I need and where do I get them from. I feel if I can learn this to use with BIAB, when I do upgrade the kit next year, I'll know how and where to change things and the world will be my oyster.

I think YouTube is your best friend for this! Brad Smith has a good number of video tutorials about working with Beer Smith such as this one:

There are so many hidden functionalities in it that you may never need/use so just figuring getting to grips with the ones you need most is the best place to start.
