The New & Old World
Midlands Beer club in conjunction with Dead Centre Brewing and The Homebrew company are proud to relaunch our annual homebrew competition.
This year's theme is cross style beer using a combination of old and new world beer style ingredients.
As with all out competitions the beer will be judged on which beer the judges decide tastes best, this will not be judged using BJCP
You are pretty much free to brew any beer you like but with 1 rule, you must use a combination of what are classed as old and new world brewing ingredients.
Example beers could be IPL, BIPA, Dry Hopped Saison, Belgian IPA etc. It is open for your interpretation.
Judging day is planned for May 7th at Dead Centre brewing, you are free to come along once judging as been complete, there will be a club meet/session and craic afterwards.
More details will be provided soon such as closing dates, drop off points and entry form

Competition entries are full, we are no longer accepting entries.
I will provide more details on March
Hi, what is the deadline for drop off?
More details will be provided in March, but most likely May 1st if you can drop off at Athlone, earlier for other drop off points which again more details will be provided in March ;D
