Title: Recipe suggestions
Post by: BrewBilly on November 15, 2014, 04:44:51 PM
Chaps I have about 100 grams crystal malt, 500 black and 100 chocolate malt. I also have about 40 East Kent goldings and about 200 oldish cluster hops. I have loads of pale malt.

Any suggestions for  recipe for what i have

Cheers
Andy

Throw in some flaked barley and you have the makings of a stout.  Or do a big english IPA with all the hops

Fire in some rolled oats for a nice oatmeal stout or you could go for a porter with the ingredients you already have going a bit easier on the black malt.. I find cluster lend themselves best to stouts/porters but that could be just me :-D
