Bubbling away like a legend in my new stainless steel fermenter.

Ooohhh where from? Pics :)

I sold up my boiler and home made mash tun with wort chiller and spent the money on a Grainfather fermenter to compliment the Grainfather brewing system.

How did the TTL go Roo?

Anyone else quintessentially brewing yet?

Lapped out of the TTL and went for a Taddy Porter instead. Bubbling away like a legend in my new stainless steel fermenter.

Hope I get to try this! Taddy porter is a great beer!

I have 2

These 2 and the friggin Smithwicks entry nearly caused me a divorce today as I was brewing for 9 hours.

:) planning a porter and maybe a special bitter of some sort if there's time to do both this weekend.  If it's only one then the porter wins.

I can't see them picking a dark beer as the winner.
I reckon they will want to avoid any confusion with another dark Irish beers.
Just my thoughts.

Interesting point but the best beer on the day will win regardless so get brewing something special!

Been contacted re. stronger beers in 330ml bottles and we're happy to accept entries for category 17 in 330ml bottles.

Still plenty of time to get brewing! A nice wee bitter or porter could be ready in 3 weeks. It's also likely that they won't be going into cold storage immediately so will still be time for bottle priming!

Quiet_Man

Ok guys. I was up to some secret, quintessential goings on over the weekend?

Doh! It's not a secret anymore. What do ya mean - Twitter's not private?

Who else is secretly brewing behind closed doors?

robotmonkey

Have a best bitter and a porter on the go at the moment!

sub82

Have a beer which could either go Brown or Porter so will probably enter as both!

banjobrew

Two ESBs in the go. One bottl conditioning and the other is getting bottled this weekend!
