Padraic

Is there any chance someone could send me a list of the beers tasted during the course. I need to do some cramming!

molc

There was a list compiled by Partridge9 as we went, but he's away at the moment. When he gets back he might be able to dig it out.
Otherwise check out the style guidelines. They have very good suggestions for most of the styles.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Padraic

Thanks molc!

Hopefully P9 will sort me out with a list when he gets back but I'll have a look at the guidelines first!

Hi Padraic,

Welcome back to the mad house.

Surely people who have attended the sessions and follow this thread can answer your questions?

It can't all be left on James' shoulders!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

molc

Actually pm me your email address and I can forward some of the info I have in my mails.

Hey, is there a 2017 BJCP Course planned? I'd like to get involved but was a bit too late to jump on this one.

Thanks,

Mick

I think the plan is to but obviously there's a lot to organize!

Understood. I appreciate the effort and commitment of all involved in organising competitions, group buys and education events. It's a thankless task for sure. If there is anything I can do to help I'll do.

Normally it's announced over the summer, with the aim of a December time for the exam. It's hard to get the exam spot as well, so there's a lot of toing and froing to get things sorted.
