Is it possible to do this: Force carbonate with co2 and then change gas to nitrogen bottle to serve or is the only way with mixed gas?????

You can carbonate with C02 and serve with mixed gas. You can also serve with C02 as well.

Id say trying to carbonate beer with mixed gas would take ages due to the low C02 levels in the gas.

I'm OK for now cos I have a full bottle of mixed gas my worrie is when I run out need to think ahead

What pressure do you put on your co2 reg? I recently carbed a stout with 0.5 bar before serving on mixed gas and it seems over carbed

I went with 5psi for 4 days for mine. Seemed to be pretty spot on
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Yeah 5 psi, I then purge the keg and leave it a day. Then serve  on nitro
