Hi Folks,

A decision has been made.

We've decided that the most sensible approach is to postpone the competition, with Saturday 24th March being the provisional new date, in the Urban.

Apologies for the short notice; we wanted to give this every chance to go ahead but, in the end, the safety of everyone involved in making the competition run successfully had to be given priority.


More information to follow.

Note for all Stewards

Plan for Saturday

9am start to enable us to set up the venue for 10am judging start.
This will a busy hour but if we all pull together things should run smoothly. I will issue pull sheets to each of you and go through how wee envisage the day to go. For those of you who are new to this don't worry we have plenty of experienced people there and i will fully explain on the morning. It is an enjoyable day.
Please bring a pen and a bottle opener to make life easier for yourself!

You did a sterling job, the event ran so smooth! I didnt get to speak to each of you before you left as it gets really busy at the end for me. I think we should all make the time to meet up for a pint someday soon!

We had two of the WORST stewards ever ... BeerBuddah and Hoptimus Prime  (where's the sarcasm font?)

Stewards did an outstanding job and are the key to making these competitions run as smoothly as Saturdays did.

That was my first experience of stewarding at the Nationals and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.  It ran like a well oiled machine and I hope to be there for many more to come.  Great to meet so many of you and put faces to names.  Huge thanks to everyone involved for putting it all together and I look forward to catching up again at BrewCon.
