Firstly, a huge thanks to our hosts here in the Pearse Lyons Brewery in Dundalk, what a great venue for a competition.

Thanks to all of our very generous sponsors, all the prizes are very much appreciated.

And thanks to everyone who entered our competition, 38 mighty fine examples of Belgian style ales!

Finally all credit to the fine, upstanding members of Wee County Brewers, a great bunch of lads!

Without further ado, the winners are as follows:

1st prize: Jonathan Leech - Flanders Red Ale (with cherry)
2nd prize: Jonathan Leech - Belgian Dark Strong Ale
3rd prize: Rafal Plesniak - Saison
HM: John Clifford - Brett Saison

Jesus Jonathan, would you leave something for the rest of us!

Scores should be available on your competition portal, but it'll be Monday before I get to a scanner. I should be able to send out scoresheets Monday night.

Roll on next year's competition!

In other news, Pearse Lyons Brewery has agreed to host a brew day for Jonathan as winner of the competition!
