Would an off-cut from a 10mm copper chiller do the job??
Also, where did you source the bung? Was it pre-drilled?

It also depends on the Bung. If its pre-drilled then the pipe needs to a tight fit. It its not drilled then you can make a hole to suit your pipe.

Making a hole in a rubber bung is not the easiest thing to do!

What size bung is it the normal one with a predrilled hole , i tried to make one of these last night and i scored the outside of the bung as it didnt fit snug in to the bottle, as you mentioned earlier , it didn t stop half way through as it should have so i have a leak . I was using beer line which was ok as well
