Fish jam is your porcine friend available for a bit of grain disposal? I have roughly 10 kilos of spent grain to get rid of?

What breed is he? What sort of size would he grow to and where does he live? Just in the back garden or sleep in the kitchen or what? Would the garden be destroyed?

he lives with the sister and brother in law down the road so I'll find out the breed specifics and get back to you.
He lives outside and they move his pen around because he does love a good dig!
I'd be pretty sure if he was let loose in your garden he'd have it re-arranged for you

nah, he's a family pet along with the dogs, chickens, ducks and rabbits.
The 2 lambs they bought the other day are a different story though . . .

Just a quickie, could the grain be as fresh as possible? I think it turns sour quite quickly

Well that's me scuppered then as the grain is from last weekend. I will though keep you in mind for future brews. Where are you based?

I believe the grain should only be a few(2-3)days old and should not be their exclusive diet as it can give them colic, but that might just be Cow, the colic that is!!

Horses as well. Also can cause a horse to go mental as they'll be full of energy but will be stuck in a field and not able to burn it off.
