Hi all,
My name is Wayne from Navan. A filthy first timer to home brewing and hoping to turning it into a real hobby.
My first effort is a Coopers Lager kit, hoping it turns out ok :)
Looking forward to picking your brains over the next while!
Cheers!

Hope your keeping an eye on those temps!

Barberjitsu

I am indeed ! 16-18 constant.... I'm hoping thats ok ! ???

Hingo

Maybe a tad bit low, pop a towel or blanket round the fermenter, it'll warm itself up, even just for a couple of days

Also if you're out the Navan area, there's a new enough Homebrew club that's going - royal county brewers
Worth popping in for a meetup see how the other lads are brewing and get a lot of good advice - might get an odd Brewday going soon!

if it's the coopers lager kit 16-18 is fine. if you can keep it there it's a good job for your first brew :)

Blueshed

Welcome to the site and nice to see another brewer in Meath. there is a nice little club up and running a few months and we meet the first Tuesday or Wednesday of the month in Smyths on the square in Navan.

We also hope to have a brew day Saturday 24th in the Malt house Trim and your welcome to drop in.

IrishBeerSnob

Definitely - come along to the brew day on the 24th if you can.
