Looks like a good day there and the brewery looks great so looking at the pictures I was wondering ,who broke the handle on the mug :)

Lovely piccies there lads, well done.

Sub82 & Bazza - how are the brews coming along?

sub82

Not so bad haven't looked in a while but planning on bottling tomorrow or Sunday so will get some bottles down as soon as they're ready!

Bazza

Ditto. Had a wee look this morning and it smells class.

Andy, can YOU remember if we added the Irish Moss or not? Chris and me are at a loss.  Blaming the fumes from the fermenters.

Hoping to bottle this weekend. Had to call into Nature's Way today for more caps. Did I mention before just how much I hate bottling? Just in case I haven't,  I hate bottling.

Can't recall Irish Moss being mentioned, so don't think so!

However, in my defence - I was too busy sampling Boundary's wares!

What yeast did you use, Barry?

A leftover sachet of Gervin GV12. Decent wee yeast, though

Think you're right - bottled this last night and looked very cloudy!! A nice wee unintentional experiment to see what Irish Moss does!

Bazza

About to start bottling mine now. Just trying to sum up the willpower. It's tough.

Will keep you posted with results.

Cheers,

Right. Done. 22 bottles preparing for conditioning:

See what you mean about the clarity, Chris:

Could have been bottled straight from the Lagan.

Taste-wise it's okay if nothing remarkable. See how they fare after a few weeks carbing and cold-conditioning.

Oh, btw, in case anyone was in any doubt- I hate bottling.

Never heard how these beers turned out?

Cloudy - yeah. But were they drinkable?

sub82

Hasn't turned out too badly.

Has a nice citra flavour and aroma and the flaked rye gives a bit of spiciness. The first one I opened foamed like crazy but the rest have been grand.

Will try and get a photo up - have some set aside for the next meet and for Matthew.

Bazza

Ditto. Not bad at all. The Citra have come through well.

Forgot about the Rye, Chris. Yeah, that might account for the tanginess.

All in all, a nice summer drink if a little on the murky side still:

Likewise, have a few for Matthew and for the next meet.
