Just an update, I went to AJ Edge lats week. Great guys. Got a used 2kg tank, new valve and a refil for 40EUR. 10EUR a fill after that. I didn't want a bigger tank as it has to fit inside my fridge, so I didn't enquire about larger sizes.

It was a sea of Red tanks everywhere, I didn't know where to look. I can't remember seeing any but their not short on tanks that's for certain!

They take cards now, they have a little device that good up to the smartphone to scan the card. I used my debit card the last time I was there

They still prefer cash and it's only a tenner tbh you have to go upstairs with a card

Just went there today. Great service as always. In and out in < 5 mins. Parking is a nightmare though!!

Anyone know when they are closing for Xmas? I need to get up there next week and get a spare tank before Xmas.

I didn't ask but I would try and head down there Monday if possible!

Ideal time is 11-12 or 2 -4 Monday to thurs as they have cleared the morning crap they close at 3.30 Friday

They close Tomorrow Thursday in case you were planning a visit Friday
