Would there be any interest in a meet up if I organise one?
I was in walled city last night and mentioned to James And he seemed fine about organising it there!
I'll do my best to make it. My last train back to Castlerock is at 21:38, so can't hang around too long.
No problem!
Be great to meet up and maybe meet a wee bit earlier if your about!
I've a "presentation" on brewing liquor if it's of interest to y'all? Won't take more than ten mins, and free printouts!
Aye I'll def be interested in that!
Yep, interested in a meet and a bit of a presentation. Sounds interesting.
I'd be constrained by the train timetable too, though.
Any dates planned?
Yeah, throw out a date, and let's see who can make it
Certainly up for it though will be dependent on my shift as hols are practically used up.
Wednesday 28th suit?
Good for me
Suits me. Must brew!
Grand for me. Do we need somewhere booked?
Great?

Aye. You want to go for Taphouse?
I'm easy but walled city is ideal for those coming in on train!
There's a free shuttle bus at quarter past the hour over to the train station from the depot too. Walled City just always a bit more expensive for pints.
Hear the beer at Taphouse has improved, too. Wouldn't mind a try. :P
Thats a handy service, wasnt aware of a shuttle bus!
Taphouse booked and all there too, FYI.
7 o'clock start.
Hopefully there's still lots of interest in Wednesday's meet up!
I'll bring a golden ale and two different types of pale ales!
Stuart
I'll have a cider or two, and a (young) Berliner Weiße.
Only the 3 of us?
Is that tonight? Balls, I'm in charge of the wain.
Want to switch the date?
if we can, I can't make tonight due to work stuff going on until 7 in Belfast
What are the meet-ups usually like for attendance?
We normally get about 5 or 6 but sometimes more. Think we should make a proper effort in January to get a big meet.
Should be more interest with all the new homebrew sets lying about after christmas.
Should we approach GEB, and ask them to slip in a NHC/Maiden City Brewers business card in with all the local deliveries? Bound to be four or five coming into the city, many more in the county.
The benefit to GEB is the likelihood of repeat purchases, if the person is encouraged to grow their hobby. All for slipping a business card in to the parcel.
Benefit to us: homebrewers will hear about us!
Sorry for the late reply but I have been side tracked with other bits and pieces.
I think the idea of a business card is a good idea and maybe a few notices in some of the pubs.
January is a good shout as it's too close to Christmas at the moment.
