Often when chatting with brewers the subject of past brewing history is remarked upon and a certain nostalgia is lamented about how beers were once great,however I believe that we are now living through a time of beer greatness. The many styles of beers being tried and even invented today and the willingness to experiment with ingredients never considered before is truly fantastic. Also the fact that it's mainly homebrewers who are the vanguard in this drive that has many of the small and new microbrewers prepared to follow is creating a consumers utopia. Sometimes it's only when time passes that you look back and see the great revolution happening right now :)
