Title: Wicklow homebrew club name
Post by: halite on May 08, 2013, 07:12:56 PM
Hi All, some of you who met up recently in Hollands may have seen in John's follow up email that he was looking to see if anybody had any alternative suggestions for the club name. Lets try and get a list together and then we can run a poll. I'll start the ball rolling...

Wicklow Brewing Collective (WBC)

Not sure if those outside the Bray "Pale" would enjoy being demoted to associates  :o

Those outside the "Bray Pale" affectionately refer to you as " ucking Bray" or somebody said to me recently Brayjing , but thats racist and I cannot condone that sort of slur.
Its not all about Bray though the same way that Ireland is not all about Dublin ;)
Come on lads think outside the box, I still think Dargle Garglers or Wicklow Brewing collective at a push as everything else is far too serious!

Why is theme music "duelling banjos" from the movie Deliverance going through my head when I hear mountain mashers. God only knows what the t-shirts would have on it  :P As for Bray somebody from Coolock no less described it to me as "Brayruit".  Had no words to follow this up but I thought it was a bit cheeky.

The membership form for the NHC is looking for a name for the club, any consensus yet?

Is it the Wicklow Brewing Collective of Dargle Garglers & Mountain Mashers?
