December 25, 2012, 12:35:07 PM #1 Last Edit: December 25, 2012, 12:51:43 PM by Hop_Bomb
Ive got an IPA id like to enter. Only thing is im not sure what the IBU is & its an english style but heavily dry hopped. Im not sure what category that'd go in.

On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

It wasnt an AG brew so Ive none of the stats. Its a modified St.Peters IPA kit. I did a 30 min hop boil with cascade leaf hops (25g for 30 mins with 25g for the last 10 mins) Its been dry hopped with 50g of cascade & 50g of alpha. Batch size is 17 litres (not 25 as on the instructions)

OG was 1055. Its still dry hoping now but Il bottle it next week & take a final gravity reading after that. Ive no IBU readings or anything. Would an experienced brewer be able to tell the IBU by tasting?

Thanks & Happy Christmas

Lads:

We are getting very close to the deadlines. In order to help planning could those who are still a bit TBD please update their entries with the types of beers ( ie categories ) that they MAYBE entering?

Its not definitive on here (that is when 'ye pays 'yer money up front!!)

It just helps with resource allocation
