Stoneground strong white flour

Right lads,

I will soon be at the bottom of my bag.  Now I know folk here are busy/stressed/skint coming up to Xmas but I would nearly be good to go with another buy at the start of Jan.

Any takers?

So far we have

Cruiscinlan: 1 x 16kg
Hop Bomb: 2 x 16kg

Im after the  Untreated Organic White Flour. Is that available? Cheers
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

According to Redmonds this is the organic strong white flour that they have from Shiptons:
F12%OP/ORG.16 - Organic trad. strong white flour no.4 (11% protein) SM, 16kg.

To be honest I'm not sure how much of a difference if any there is between these two:

oinkely,  stored properly strong white should last a year.  Wholemeal flour will not last as long due to the amount of oils from the germ etc.

aweisse, I've just updated the list to put in everyone's locations.

Cruiscinlan: 1 x 16kg Drumcondra D9.
Hop Bomb: 2 x 16kg Galway City.
aweisse: 2 x 16kg Cork City.

Once things quieten down after Xmas I'll see if our contact will be able to pick up and drop off to me in Drumcondra. 5 bags is what we need for the order anyway so we've reached that.

Aweisse how would you be getting your flour?

Aweisse.if you look back over the thread there was a drop to Cork so perrhaps see if that person does a regular run. For the previous order it was all dropped in Dublin.

Can you defo get the untreated no 04 flour? Redmonds wont just send whatever they want right?

I've checked the bag to see exactly what it says and its marked 'Organic Number Four'.  You can rest assured that if I end up with five sacks of Odlums I won't be too happy.

That's fine, still at the process of firming up quantities.  Now contacting Redmonds to ensure availability post-Xmas rush.
