Well if there's a Vermouth (i.e. Stong wine) there had better be some port:

1: Will_D: 2 Country, 2 grape at least, A port or two
2: Richie:  1 Country
3. itsclinto: Maybe 1 country (have to see closer the time), 1 definite and 1 maybe grape (both kits)
4. Dunkel: 3 x grape
5. bachus: Maybe 1 x Vermouth (we will see after pre-competition tasting meeting...)

Flip me..

I'm looking forward to seeing the state of the fellas who are judging this one at the end of the night..

Will_D

Unlike beer tasting, wines are not swalowed!

Wines are not swalowed? Are we going to to batch Cauim (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cauim) ? ;-)

Just bumping this as according to the Comp thread there is only one category for wine ???

If you are serious about wine/vermouth/port making and want to enter the comp then please update the comp. thread:

After all how are the judges going to compare a dry kit white to a carrot and parsnip olorosso?

2 or three entries last year no medals awarded as far as I remember
Come on folks enter, I know there is good wine out there, I've tasted it.

Will_D

How many wines can we enter if there is only one catgory?

Since there are no rules for wines or meads for that matter only caps on beers ciders and meads with one per sub category and we want to encourage the entries for this year as many as you want.
To all entrants please note however that carpet bombing does not guarantee a medal if the standard isn't there. A reminder that the descriptive is very important for this category.
