Padraic, have you asked Dean McGuinness directly?

No but they do not stock a lot of the beers required unfortunately, possibly for other styles but for lagers. I will check them out for the next few days.

johnrm

Cremin and Radley are based in Little Island.

I've not looked through their full range yet, but thay may be able to supply, or direct us towards a retailer that has the required beers in stock.

Padraic

Just updateing the dropping of Malt from the theory side. There will be an introduction to tasting and the BJCP tasting that replaces it! It seemed like a better use of my time with a few days to go!

Have ye got the 'off' beer from the Well?
Shane/Ronan lost that puppy and had it returned in the Well.
A 6pack of swing tops.

beerfly

did not want to chance walking through the north inner city with a six pack at 1am so left them with shane

johnrm

Even off beer is valuable to us.
What are we like?!

Dunkel

Have to say this was a great day. Just apart from tasting 14 different lager styles, running the gamut (whatever that is) from Coors Light through Schwarzbier to Doppelbock, interesting talk by Will_D on water and Padraic's "How to taste beer and pass the BJCP exam", very good to meet some of the guys from Belfast, Galway and Cork. I reckon we'll have a rake of new, recently-approved, shiny-clean judges for the next National in March.

Hats off to Padraic   ;D
