put this on a month ago, while its still very young its very pale,  watery, no zing. OG1.044 FG 1.005. Where did i go wrong. Besides the fact it fermented out in 3days. You can really taste the banana ester (i think thats what i can taste).Its drinkable but just about. i didnt added anything other than what was supplied.

Yeah I'd ask the same as Tube, what temperature did you ferment it at? You should have fermented between 12 and 15c and the ferment should be taking the guts of two weeks at least. Then you'll have to lager for another few weeks......

Your schedule sounds like a room temperature ferment and if you've used a lager yeast that'll be the main problem.
