330ml bottles

With the first barrel project coming up to bottling time soon I've been thinking about suitable bottles. I'd prefer to bottle mine in smaller 330ml bottles as having to drink a half litre at a time of a 9% RIS isn't ideal. So I've been collecting Belgian style 330ml bottles but have ended up using them all for a Belgian ale I just brewed and empties are hard to get hold of anyway. I would think that many of us who are due our 20 litres of RIS are in the same situation with bottles - and if we're doing more barrel brews we'll need even more.

So would there be any interest in a group buy of Belgian style 330ml bottles? From limited research I've found them on Brouwland (both swing top and crown cap varieties - I'm easy about what type)...

Anyone know any better sources for these?

A craft beer bar will go through any amount of Belgian bottles in a given weekend and they'd be happy to give them out for free.

Man up and drink 500Ml ;D

closer to home and I'm sure they could probably source 330 swings as well

You want capped not swing tops.

This kind of beer will age better than the seals on swing tops.

As beer bottles go, I prefer the Westmalle ones. They never go to waste, and are reasonably easy to get the Dubbels in supermarkets.

[Edit: Didn't check alpack.ie prices before posting, they're about €0.2767ea (includes extra 10% November disc)]

The Brouwland ones are coming in around the €0.41 mark, could be an alternative (NHC affilate too):

http://www.geterbrewed.com/24-x-330ml-amber-glass-bottles £7 ~€8.40 less HBC discount 5% €7.98  = 0.3325ea, shipping extra

or these (possibly coming cheaper than Brouwland on volume);

The problem with 330 is it seems small enough to go for just one more, which quickly turns into 6 or 7 more.
Personally id rather mine in 500s

Irish Party Ale

The last time I checked I had quite a few 330 ml bottles. Remind me again how much we will each be bottling, and I'll have a quick shufty and see if I have many to spare

Ciderhead

Min 15, probably 18L approx,
Have you got over 600 bottles ;)
Anybody in GCB got a good bench capper?
I'm gonna take a run into Alpack if anyone is interested, strictly CIA?
