QuoteI see this company stock 200 L stainless steel drums,

I use 100 litre stainless steel drums like these for fermentors, and am very happy with them.

Blackbrew

Will try get a price from them and see where a price break could come

I guees if your talking < 10 for 30 Liters - I'll take 2  (ill downgrade to 3 x 20 if we cant get 30L)

1. Dr Jacoby: 30L x 2 / 20L x 2 / 10L x 2 / 5L x 2 / 2.5L x 4 / 1L x 4
2. Mike: 30L x 2 / 20L x 2
3. rossa : 20 x 2
4. JamesM: 3 x 30L (ill downgrade to 3 x 20 if we cant get 30L)
5. Jacob: 4 x 30L
6. BlackBrew (Cork) 3 X 30L
7. Trombyy : 20L x 2
8 newToBrew : 30L * 2  (ill downgrade to 3 x 20 if we cant get 30L)
coz theres always something new to do

Is the plastic in these buckets ok to be used as a boiler (using a pimped kettle element)?

This is a ciderhead question but I'd go with no!

I saw them only briefly and the ones I saw were not suitable  :(
The wall thickness wasn't great either, just use the translucent brew buckets, they are fine.

Cheers lads.

Think i'll pick up a few buckets from alpack soon and i'll just convert the fermenter i have.
