Congratulations - Gold in Galway

Garden County Brewers did particularly well in the Barrel section of the 1st leg of the 2015 NHC National Championships held on Sat 21st Feb, in The Oslo, Galway.



A Wee Heavy & a RIS were entered.

The Wee Heavy got 1st place, followed up with the RIS finishing 2nd place.

On a personal level, Damo won a Gold for his Cat - 21 Spice/Herb Beer;  Black Ale (brewed with fennel seeds and figs soaked in black rum), which some of you might have sampled at the last meet in Jan.

Also, Leann Ull also won Category 3 - Vienna Lager / Oktoberfest with his Vienna Lager.


The remaining categories will be judged in Alfie Byrnes, Dublin on March 7th.
