The Homebrew Company

Hi,

We will add the white labs to the order. On the custom all grain kits:

The Max grain allowed has now been added to the instructions and we have settled on 8kg, so get building your Imperials  ;D

We have added a liquid yeast version now also:

https://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/all-grain-mash-kits-c-194.html

We have also not forgotten about our extract brewers out there and added this option to that range also:

https://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/extract-beer-kits-c-164.html

And as for the kit brewers, this option has always been there for you, you have your Orgasms

https://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/the-orgasm-ipa-40-pints-30-kg-p-2458.html

They are proving quite popular so far. If there is any more feedback please let us know and we can take a look. We now hope we have everything and everybody covered.

We have also added an all grain recipe build option on our site, it is very simple, just follow the guidelines and we can build almost any all grain kit. This is proving particularly popular already:

Enjoy

This is most excellent news, and also most dangerous as my excuses not to brew run out. :'(

Seriously though congratulations on the expansion of services especially the build your own kit option above. ;D

we won't go making anything up with 200g of hops for dry hopping

Oh well, that's me out anyway... ;)

Seriously though, great news lads.

One other thing I'd like to see is whole malts available in 250g bags. Some grains you just don't need 1kg of.

There are also some malts that are available in 500g bags but they're already crushed. I can't stand buying crushed malt, would love to see more flexible options around whole malts.

armedcor

250g in the speciality malts would be great!

Those mash kits are great. So much handier than having loads of spare bags of grain around. Great work.

The Homebrew Company

OK we have taken the feedback on board and we have changed the whole malts to all 500g quantities from the 1kgs. We could not go to smaller increments or you guys would never get your orders out and the lads in the shop would quit. If it helps, the majority of the malts in 500g packs are less than €1 now, never before has there been such value.

Also found four boxes of T-58 11g yeast today with a best before date of August 2015. We have put these on at 60% off:

White labs are now on the way, will update when they arrive.

Thanks

Shane

White labs arrived Wednesday, the new WLP006 and WLP585 have been added to the website also.

Thanks,

Shane

We are now carrying a nice little range of push fittings. Anyone having trouble matching gas line to disconnects and regulators can now breathe easy we hope:

Just in time was planning on calling into the shop on Friday,

Leann ull

Great idea with all them kegs regs and taps floating around, was just about to order from fleabay the fittings for the disconnects
What function do the ones with the stem have is that to slot into flexible line with a jubilee clip?

dcalnan

I plan on using the right angle stem for my taps, as the room behind isn't enough to bend the tubing safely, with the stem I can attach it to the tap at a right angle, and I imagine for people with 3/16 tubing but with 3/8 outputs in the keg and tap, could connect directly to the stem instead of using a small bit of 3/8 tubing and a straight reducer.

Tom

Excellent selection, thanks! See the stem elbows, is the stem 3/16 or 3/8? Need a 3/16 stem, see...

Hi Tom,

They are all 3/8 stem changing into the 3 sizes for the line. I'll check for other stem sizes the next time. The lads in the shop love seen these on orders  :D They would just love to hear it is to be extended!
