Hehe Shanna is a great lad for one lad, but yeah, give him a bit of a break on the ould deliveries for a while ;)

Just needs someone to be there on the day of the delivery and then be a main pickup center for the club representatives to do pickups.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Exactly, it's not rocket science, one just needs somewhere secure & large enough to store the kegs. Having direct access to the space for a delivery truck would help also so there is only a short distance to haul the kegs.

I could store about 30 in my place any more would not be under lock and key so I couldn't take responsibility for any more. I could still be an option if numbers were higher and the difference was picked up on the day.

Hi Folks
Just wondering what the interest would be for a group buy on some reconditioned kegging systems. Saw this on done deal http://www.donedeal.ie/gardenfun-for-sale/cornelius-corny-beer-tanks-ball-lock-homebrew-tank/9090315?offset=1

Minimum order is 30 kegs, if people are interested maybe we could get in touch with him and make sure it's legit first. They're the proper type of kegs and I wouldn't mind getting two or three at that price.

Let me know.
Thanks,
Shaun

Jaysus Shaun you're after opening a big feckin can of worms for yourself with your second post on the forum. This could get messy  :-[

Hi Shaun,

It's a big commitment in terms of time especially if you use candirect as they are pretty laid back in terms of comma. If you use them always cc yourself on emails so that you reuse the last email to resend the same request. As for 2nd post sometimes it's the energy of new blood that is needed to organise this stuff. If you start to get traction on this I would suggest you set an upper limit on numbers with a backup list in case of drop outs. When it comes to collection of cash you should be able to use the club bank account & PayPal to gather the necessary funds. Watch out for can direct & how they appply vat & transport charges. Don't pay them anything till you have received a pro forma invoice from them. I created a Google drive spreadsheet originally to track the details of the order & I paused it on to mild. I would get him to send you the details and reuse this. If I can help 're queries give me a shout and best of luck. One last thing irrespective of where you are put the onus on clubs around the country to collect & distribute the items , it will make your life much easier.

Hi Shanna
Thanks for all the info and if we can use the clubs paypal that would be fantastic. If we can sort storage I don't mind being the back and forth guy.
I'll wait until they email me back, once I know if they can supply us. I'll set a limit on keg numbers (say one pallet) and put an online spreadsheet or if you could send me your old one that would be fantastic.

As the can of worms, a baptism of fire never hurt anyone!
