The counterflow bottle filler is basically like a blichmann beergun?

Nope. Though it is similar.
The fill is controlled by way of a pressure release valve.

Buy it, try it and sell it again. Then you'll know all about it.

You can always sell it here again.

I'm tempted myself.

I haven't used a Blichmann, but they fill differently. My understanding of the Blichmann is that it releases CO2 into the bottle then fills with beer.

This one seals on the top of the bottle. You fill the bottle with CO2 under pressure. You then close off the CO2 supply and open the Beer supply(Red levers on top). Nothing happens initially as the bottle and corny are under the same pressure. You then vent the CO2 out of the bottle with the small tap on the top of the bung, which reduces pressure in the bottle to slightly below the corny pressure. You can control the rate at which the bottle fills to reduce foaming and loss of carbonation and the CO2 in the bottle avoids oxidation.

Would the tenants tap work on the door of a fridge for a corny setup.? If yes then I'll take it.

No problem Declan
I did not take it as I thought it was the beer gun. I already have a counter pressure bottle filler myself.

I'm not sure. See pics provided. Maybe someone on here has done it before..

I just looked at 3 fridge doors and they are 51mm, 35mm and 30mm thick. So it depends on the door you have.
Cheers.

I told you where there was 3 cheap stirplates recently and you weren't interested ;)

I got one of the MBW ones.
I still like the look of the one you got, nice and compact.
The 3 plate one was a bit on the big side for me.

Please PM Bank details so I can sort you, thanks.
Now need to puzzle logistics.

jawalemon

Grand, I'll take it. Will send you  a PM

The buyer for the Twin tower with taps has reluctantly dropped out of deal so they are available again for €80.  Unable to update the original post to show changes.

I've also withdrawn the two Stella taps as I'm getting handles made for them.
