1/2 a kilo of chocolate malt wanted

Hi there,

Anybody around the South Dublin area spare me 1/2 a kilo of chocolate malt before the weekend? I am planning to do an oatmeal stout this weekend and just realised that I am short the chocolate malt for my recipe. Have some on order from the HBC as of this evening but unlikely that it will arrive before the weekend. Will collect and return in kind when what I have on order arrives.

I'm not about for the next few days (traveling with with) so can't help you out but I'm pretty sure you'll get your order by Friday, anytime I've ordered from hbc I've never had to wait more than 2 days.

I normally would have plenty in stock, but I'm trying to keep my inventory low at the moment, as I was just throwing too much grain away.

Me too, I checked my hops last night & I ended up throwing away nearly 500 gr of the cheesiest hops imaginable. I thought I had loads of chocolate malt so was really caught out by it.

I have Black Malt and Roasted Barley but no chocolate. If Conor does not have any chocolate malt I will take you up on it.

Can just picture you standing around by the coffee dock @09:00 and some dude stops on a bike and both shiftily exchange a bag of "chocolate malt"!!! What could people possibly think If you have a bag would you PM me tonight please and I will try and figure out how I can get out to you in Ballsbridge?

Just checked, and unfortunately I'm all out of chocolate malt. Then I remembered I was short of choc on my last brew and to sub with another roasted malt. Sorry.
