Stock list for barrell project

So I think we should start to build up an inventory of what people have and what we need to be ordering for the project. I'm sure between us we have a fair amount of be ingredients.
When we get the list together we can finalize a recipe and specs.

I'll post my stock of grains and hops tonight when I get home.

Yeap Sorry about the delay posting the recipe - Jacob and Myself have been going through it today - ok I confess - mainly Jacob !

Anyways we are almost there.

Did a quick stock take on my specialty grains lastnight.

Roughly 5 kg of different value crystals
1.5 kg amber
just under a kg of roasted barley
1.5kg chocolate
500g roasted rye
750g special b
700g carafa special 3

Base malts.. I'd say whatever i have will be getting used up over the weekend so as soon as recipe is finalized will need to get ordering. 

Dont have any EKG or fuggles but have no shortage of US hops if anyone has spare and wants to swap.

Down in HBC today and been emailing Shane they know what we are up to and have plenty for everyone so don't panic.

I have plenty of Crystal 150 to go round - we should start a big exchange to minimise the cost !

I have enough for my brew and this will be left over:

4.5 Kg  Irish Pale Malt (whole from group buy)
12 Kg   Marris Ot.    (whole from group buy)
14 kg   Wheat Malt (whole from group buy)
   
The only speciality is:
1.5 kg  Crystal  at about 145

Have the Magnum and a couple of IPA/APA's sitting on US-05 so yeast is OK

@James; What news on the donated yeasts??

Did they know already, or did they find out from you?

I was asking about 10 vials of 004 and what it was for and advised shane that there were 10 other groups doing the same.

I'd doubt we would do it that way

Because we are all so close - we would probably make a big starters and split them - or - use the club yeast - but I need to get permission to do that.

Ok, so what's the story with the yeast? Are we going to use MB 514 or US-05?
