Title: FV Measurement required please? :)
Post by: Vladabeer Brewtin on March 15, 2017, 02:50:02 PM
I'm picking up a second hand Under Counter Fridge this evening which I hope to turn in to a brew fridge.

I'm heading straight from work so won't get home to measure my FV to make sure it fits in the fridge.

I'd be really grateful if someone could throw a measuring tape on a 25lt FV and let me know the dimensions, so I don't end up with a useless fridge.

This is the type of FV I have http://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/25-litre-fermentation-vessel-with-airlock-bung-p-77.html

Many thanks in advance

different models but my 25L bottling bucket is in cm 34W x 40H,

My 33 liter bucket is 38W x 40H.

You will also need some headroom for an airlock/blowoff.

Picked up the fridge and everything fits beautifully.

Lookig forward to starting my next brew (St. Peter's Golden Ale) with better temperature control.

Thanks for the help

Best of luck with it, I noticed a big improvement in my beers once I got the temperature control sorted.
